The original Dark Cloud was one of the first RPGs to grace the PlayStation 2, sort of a spiritual successor to ActRaiser given its combination of world rebuilding with action gameplay in dungeons. The music had some presentation issues, such as the lack of it during night and the repetitive battle theme, but most of the tracks in its soundtracks are fairly enjoyable and a little catchy, such as the Wise Owl Forest theme. Recommended listening.
