Violet Evergarden
An adaptation of the light manga of the same name, Violet Evergarden follows the eponymous protagonist, a shell-shocked war veteran (with women apparently allowed into the military in its universe and its equivalent of the First World War) with limited emotion, and who seems to have autistic qualities, who aims to become an Auto Memories Doll, which is to say, a ghostwriter, and struggles somewhat with the initial bluntness of her messages. It was definitely a good anime with moving music, although its name for ghostwriters sounds a bit Engrishy, and it wouldn't kill just to use the term ghostwriter.
