Originally released as Final Fantasy II in North America during its dark age of global ignorance with regards to Japanese RPGs released solely in the Land of the Rising Sun, this game would see several ports and a remake on the Nintendo DS, with its soundtrack among its most celebrated aspects. The game's theme of love receives a vocal version at the end of the soundtrack, although most of the tracks sound only mildly remixed from their Super NES precursors. Even so, the tracks are good, and this soundtrack is recommended listening.
