"Patience"

A poem I wrote while waiting to read my "Spinning Toy" sonnet:

Just get on with the events already!

I cannot bear to wait any longer.

My human body is far from steady,

But what does not kill us makes us stronger.

I absolutely abhor trivial talk,

Equally detest procrastination,

Hate it when people do not walk the walk,

For in life time is a sacred station.

I do not desire to wait anymore,

For my patience approaches its limit,

Could I get away, I would inflict gore,

Though know I would be punished every bit.

Patience is a virtue, so it is said,

But I wish not precious time wind up dead!
