Mother (album)
I have fond memories of Nintendo's EarthBound many a console generation ago, although as with most games of the time, I didn't pay particular attention to the music, and was somewhat unaware that it was the second in a series that I didn't fully discover until well beyond the 16-bit era. This is an interesting album that takes many of the tracks from the original Mother (ultimately released as EarthBound Beginnings), and accompanies them with vocals, surprisingly in English, and which are generally enjoyable. There are some instrumental tracks such as the frozen area theme, which is beautiful, and ending the soundtrack is a medley of the game's 8-bit tunes, and a good instrumental. Definitely recommended listening.
