An anime taking place in the near future, with the acronym meaning "Artificial and Intelligent Cellular Organism," and the main protagonist being Aiko Tachibana, who was in an automobile accident with her father. Has some good action, although the plot is somewhat derivative, and they could have done without the Japanese honorifics, since the cast obviously isn't Asian, and the Japanese as usual don't depict themselves accurately within the anime. Other media that occurs in Japan, such as the RPG The World Ends with You, did just fine without honorifics.
