Mostly based on Castlevania III and Curse of Darkness, with the four-episode first season telling the origin of Dracula's wish for revenge against the human race, with the generation afterward, led by Alucard, Trevor Belmont, and a magician named Sypha dealing with Dracular's minions. It was fairly enjoyable, and Netflix is definitely a good home for videogame adaptations, instead of Hollywood trying to cram five-to-fifty hour gameplay experiences into hundred-minute movies.
