One of the first joint ventures between composers Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata, this soundtrack features plenty of sweeping epic tracks, with many characters having their own themes, with "Thunder God Cid," for instance, definitely sending shivers down this reviewer, and several remixes of central themes that make the music more memorable. Definitely recommended listening.
